Sterling Puparatory Academy is located in the Northeast corner of Connecticut in Sterling CT.  SPA is Owned and operated by Animal Behavior College certified trainer John Deffley. John is native to RI/Eastern CT and has over four years experience as a certified trainer and has been raising puppies and training dogs for over 15 years.  SPA based their training philosophy after Cesar Milan, Mike Ritland, Patricia McConnell and Zack George.  Using “Energy, Exercise, Earn” model as the basis for their training, SPA specializes in early fundamentals of crate training, leash training, “sit-stay-come” and focuses on simplifying training with a balance of management and positive reinforcement.
